Sunday Rocks|Thanksgiving Edition

November 23, 2014

It’s Sunday. Which means it is absolutely the perfect time to share our favorite ideas, recipes, objects, dreams, and desires of the week. Sundays mean lingering in bed, an extra cup of coffee, a breakfast splurge, lounging in pajamas. Sunday Rocks!

I don’t think I need to tell you that today marks the beginning of the Thanksgiving week, so I thought it only appropriate for this weeks’ links to create my dream Thanksgiving.

If I were hosting this affair I would ask that everyone bring me a box of these outrageous truffles that Nicole wrote about this week.

Do you see that table up there? That’s what my table would look like. And here’s some more gorgeous ideas from A Cozy Kitchen.

The day’s cocktails would be these Spiced Apple Margaritas from Cookie and Kate.

In the turkey department we would have to have this stunning Herb-Orange Turkey Breast with Roasted Pear Gravy  from my friend Aida Mollenkamp’s beautiful new site Salt and Wind.

To round out the meal I’d have Thanksgiving Tian from Beard and Bonnet

and Tracy’s Creamed Spinach

For dessert Deb has answered my every prayer by combining pumpkin pie and pecan pie in one dessert.

What’s on your dream menu? Or your real one for that matter? Whatever you’ll be feasting on I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with good food, drink, and laughter. Happy Sunday!

Nothing earth shattering, but my husband loves cheesecake & pumpkin pie so I am combing those in a ginger snap crust. Hope it works. Happy Thanksgiving!
