The lazy days of summer is a bit of a misnomer, don’t ya think? I suppose with regular school schedules interrupted one could be coaxed into thinking that we have all the time in the world to plan and execute dinner but the reality is with camp, and sports and the swimming pool luring us in, 5pm comes around before you’ve even had a chance to think about what you might make.
In an attempt to be prepared I’ve pulled together 20 family-friendly meals that take 30-minutes of hands-on cooking time or less so you don’t have to fret if you happen to have a couple of sun-baked lunatics on your hands who need to eat now! (Recipes are marked DF- dairy free, GF- gluten free, Vegan, and Vegetarian so you can tell at a glance if they will be right for your family.)
