Recently it has come to my attention that people don’t believe in Pinterest, meaning they believe that Pinterest is a nice way to waste a couple hours but that no one actually makes anything they find there.
Well, well, well I for one find a ton of inspiration on that site and make a boatload of the recipes. I see Pinterest as my personal online cookbook and to prove my point I wanted to share with you some of my favorites that I’ve made just this week. ¿Y tú, qué comes?
This week in la cocina, I’ve actually spent a good deal of time out of the kitchen and quite a bit of time hovered over the smoky grill. These to-die-for short ribs from Sunny Anderson give instructions for baking them in the oven, but were killer low and slow on the grill for a couple of hours.
Summer is also all about salads and this dressing from An Edible Mosaic is the perfect combination of sour and sweet and loaded with sesame and poppy seeds.
Father’s Day was made special with these delicious dairy-free Chocolate Chip Muffins from How Sweet Eats.
This Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Host the Toast Blog answered the what’s for dinner dilemma this week and came together in under an hour—bonus! (Psst….we skipped the cheese and it was still really good.)
And it seems since Costco started selling wild sockeye that we can’t get enough salmon. This soy and maple recipe from The Food Network was loved by all. I didn’t make the cauliflower salad but I kinda wished I would’ve.
Now it’s your turn to share. What Pinterest recipes have you made this week? I’d love to know ¿qué estás comiendo?
Love Pinterest. Have been cooking recipies from my Healthy Food/Drink board after returning from vacation last week. Right now I have Banana-Oatmeal Power Cookies in the oven.
Those sound good Liz, maybe a new breakfast cookie? Let me know if you like them and I’ll try them out!
