Ingredients

  • 1 ripe California kiwifruit peeled and quartered, plus a few more slices for garnish
  • 1/2 California lime quartered
  • 1-2 teaspoons California honey depending on how sweet you like your cocktails
  • 2 ounces Cachaça
  • ice

Method

  1. Muddle the fruit. Combine kiwi, lime, and honey in a cocktail shaker and muddle until everything is well crushed with a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon.
  2. Shake. Fill the shaker 2/3 of the way full with ice. Add the cachaça and give a good hard shake until the outside of the shaker is cold and beaded with water, about 20 seconds.
  3. Serve. Pour into a rocks glass, garnish with a kiwi slice or two and serve.
