- Cut orange in half. Squeeze one half into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cut the other half into wedges. Take one wedge and run it along the rim of a glass. Dip the glass in salt and set aside.
- Squeeze the juice of 1 lime into the cocktail shaker. Cut the other lime in wedges for garnish.
- Add tequila to cocktail shaker, seal, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is beaded with sweat.
- Pour drink into prepared glass. Garnish with orange and lime wedges add a splash of creme de cassis over the top and enjoy.

Notes
- Crème de cassis tip: Start with 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon—it’s potent and can take over fast. Add more only after you taste.
- Make it a pitcher: Multiply everything by the number of drinks, shake/stir in a pitcher with ice, and add cassis to each glass at the end so everyone gets that swirl.
- Tequila note: Silver/blanco keeps it crisp; reposado will taste warmer and a little more “oaky.”
- No shaker? Use a mason jar with a tight lid, or stir really well with plenty of ice until the drink is very cold.
