Patrón tequila is by far one of the most popular tequilas for making cocktails and with the holidays coming up there’s no better time to add a few new recipes to your repertoire. Check out these 27 drink recipes with Patron and find a new favorite!
Tis’ the season for cocktails and of course my favorites are made with tequila. There are so many tequilas on the market now and many of them are very good and very expensive. Those tequilas are meant for sipping straight, not mixed into drinks.
A tequila I turn to again and again for smooth, silky flavor rich with agave that is not too pricey and perfect for mixing is Patrón tequila. This is not a sponsored post for Patrón, I just really like it and think Patron silver and reposado make excellent drinks.
So without further ado, here are 27 of my favorite drink recipes with Patron!
27 Drink Recipes With Patron
1. Sparkling Blood Orange Margarita
Ready or not the holidays are here! And that means making drinks for a crowd. This festive margarita is pitcher-ready with blood orange soda, orange liqueur, blanco tequila and lime.

2. La Mulita
Just to reassure you this list isn’t all about margaritas, I bring you a tequila take on a Moscow Mule: La Mulita. The ingredients for this drink are fresh lime juice (after all it is citrus season) and a serious amount of fresh mint combined with silver tequlia and ginger beer for extra zing.
3. Tequila Sunrise
This is not your usual tequila sunrise, no this is full of seasonal sparkle, made with homemade grenadine. Which of course is totally optional but actually really easy and you can brag about it when you serve this drink at your holiday party.
Fresh orange juice, tequila, grenadine, cherry. That’s it!
4. The Best Paloma Recipe
Twinkling lights above and the true authentic taste of Paloma, just like you had in Mexico in your glass. The secret? Squirt grapefruit soda, reposado tequila, and a generous lime wedge to squeeze over the top.
5. Ranch Water
If you are looking for something lighter and lower in sugar, Ranch Water is the answer. Grab a highball glass and mix up tequila, lime juice, and sparkling water. Fill with ice and garnish with a lime wedge. That’s it!
6. Cadillac Margarita
Sticking with the classic margarita, this Cadillac Margarita recipe is tried and true and never disappoints. What makes it Cadillac? It’s made with premium ingredients. Patrón silver, fresh lime juice, and instead of regular ‘ol triple sec, Grand Marnier orange liqueur.
7. Tamarind Margarita
Calling all sour lovers! This delicious margarita features homemade tamarind simple syrup (which you can also pour over sparkling water for a non-alcoholic option). Tamarind adds a mouthwatering sour note to this sultry drink.
8. Honey-Grapefruit Margarita
This is a cocktail that is so good you might want to make it for Christmas and again for New Year’s Eve. Juicy ruby red fresh grapefruit juice makes a beautiful margarita sweetened with honey, a hefty splash of tequila, garnished with a lime wheel, and rimmed in coarse salt.
9. The Chimayo Cocktail
If there’s one thing every holiday party needs, it’s a really good drink and this is one of my favorites. Apple cider, gold tequila, lemon juice, and creme de cassis. An absolute stunning tequila cocktail.
10. Tequila Holiday Punch
Okay, this recipe is actually called Mezcal Holiday Punch but I’ve made it tons of times with tequila and it is festive and fun and ready to party. Simple ingredients like tequila, pineapple juice, ginger beer, and lots of citrus plus I even show you how to make a gorgeous ice ring to keep your punch nice and chilled all evening.
11. Cranberry-Ginger Margarita
Celebrate with the most cheery Patron margarita recipe: Cranberry Ginger Margaritas! Shake up a few of these and you’ll be in good spirits just in time for St. Nick. Silver tequila, cranberry juice, fresh grated ginger, and orange liqueur.
12. Tangerine Thyme Margaritas
Ring in the New Year with one of my most popular Patrón cocktails. This one has been a fan favorite ever since I first published it in 2018. Full of fresh tangerine juice and thyme simple syrup it is unique and special. Here’s a little mixologist tip: Add a pinch of salt to the cocktail shaker before shaking up the drink. It brings out the flavors more than you would believe. This is especially true if you don’t like a salty rim.
13. Super Easy Spicy Margarita Recipe
This is the best cocktail for those who like the heat. And this is the one my family loves the most. Best of all, it’s crazy easy. Tequila, fresh lime juice, jalapeños, agave, and Patrón Citrónge Orange are all you need!
14. Spicy Raspberry Margaritas
Looking for fruity and spicy? Try this zippy raspberry-jalapeño margarita. If you can’t find fresh raspberries, frozen ones work just fine. The heat for this one comes from infusing the tequila with jalapeño. This fiery mixture needs to sit for at least a few hours, so plan ahead.
15. Pomegranate Tequila Sidecar Cocktail
Not all holiday cocktails have to be enjoyed with others. A great option for private sipping is this easy 3-ingredient cocktail to enjoy while wrapping presents or writing Christmas cards. A sidecar is a classic cocktail that is typically made with cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon but this one has all the fall feels with Pomegranate, tequila, and cognac.
16. Apple Lime Margarita
There’s so many good cocktails on this list, it’s hard to decide which one to try first, but I think the fall margarita with apple cider syrup is close to the top. Patron tequila, cider syrup, and lime is all you need.
17. Skinny Cherry Margarita
Even though cherries are more of a summer fruit, frozen cherries work awesome in this recipe and the red color is so holiday perfect. The salted rim on this one is essential.
18. Spiced Fig Tequila Sour
Featuring one of your favorite flavors of the season—figs and warm spices! Even though it is perfectly spiced it still is an incredibly refreshing cocktail. Serve up in a martini glass for a fancy cocktail party.
19. Pineapple Hibiscus Margarita
Sweet and tart with a refreshing finish and touch of hibiscus salt with every sip. This Patron pineapple cocktail is brimming with flavor.
20. Morning Margarita
Margaritas for brunch? Let’s do it! This is the perfect way to kick off Christmas or New Year’s brunch. Seriously one of the best tequila cocktails.
21. Charred Chile Bloody Maria
And while we’re on the subject of morning cocktails, how about a Bloody Maria made with Patron silver tequila? Don’t forget the tequila salt rim.

22. Pitcher Perfect Sour Orange Margaritas
This party favorite combines sour orange juice, tequila, and sugar in one big pitcher. Make ahead and have ready when guests arrive! If you are a margarita lover, you will definitely enjoy this drink.
23. Super Easy Spicy Mango Margarita
You’ll find yourself making this easy 3-ingredient cocktail over and over again this holiday season. It is one of my favorite drinks to make for parties because it is ridiculously simple and everyone loves it.
This Mexican mulled fruit punch is filled with tropical fruits and warm spices. Add a splash of tequila right before serving.
25. Thanksgiving Paloma
This pomegranate-infused Patron paloma is quick and easy to make and packed with fresh pomegranate. So simple and delicious especially when made with high-quality tequila.
26. Blackberry Limonada Margarita
This margarita gets its flavor from blackberry syrup which is really easy to make with frozen blackberries. Combine the blackberries with sugar, cook and strain. Mix with fresh lemon juice, and tequila! Every sip is pure refreshing bliss.
27. Prune-Jamaica Cordial
Everything you love about an after dinner drink plus the satisfaction of telling everyone it is homemade. Simple to prepare and perfectly spiced with hibiscus you can enjoy this straight or turn it into any number of cocktail recipes.
