Hey! Week 4 of quarantine. How we doing?
I had a rougher week last week. Feeling pretty unmotivated, but in the grand scheme of things, I really have nothing to complain about. I want to thank you all so much for being a constant source of support and inspiration. I’ve loved our conversations. You guys are strong and resilient and you make me want to be strong and resilient too.
How about that Quarantine Cooking? Has it been a source of ease or anxiety? As a cook, I always love that moment in the week when I sit down and make a plan for what we will eat. Making that grocery list gives me a great sense of satisfaction that there is still something under my control. Hopefully these lists provide you with some peace as well.
This week’s dinner ideas are mostly comfort food, because that’s what I’m craving right now. There are lots of Mexican flavors here, plus a cocktail for happy hour and a classic New York Cheesecake recipe because Louisa loves cheesecake so I thought we could make that one together.
If you are looking for something that takes almost no effort, check out my new Creamy Mexican Vegetable Soup.
Also, for a little bit of sunshine, don’t forget to enter a giveaway of a whole slew of Pyrex products that I’m co-hosting with my friend, Aida from Salt and Wind over on Instagram. But hurry, it closes on Monday.
Have a great week and if you try any of the recipes, don’t forget to snap a pic and tag them #10recipestotry so I can see!
xoxo
